Structuring is getting more and more important. On the one hand it is important get structure into information: Only structured information can survive on the long perspective. Every tiny bit of a structure can be changed with complex processes.
It is a long chain of working processes that need to be completed to change the surface structure of a material, as one can easily imagine. Conventionally one had to take the aid of several companies to get a satisfactory result. The problem of this solution of optical coating was that one needed to organise a huge amount of transportations: The product that needed a changed surface structure had to be transported from the first manufactory to the last one. This could cause enormous cost intensive solutions that were not economically any more.

All the processes can be maintained under one roof because the latest technology is used in the manufactory rooms of Imtag. They have rooms with vacuum properties just for the production of special surface structures. Thus, the specialisation brings a lot of comfort for the customers: They have just one partner for a specific project and do not have to move the material from one to another.
This is an important fact if one wants to change a particular behaviour of a material. Especially if one needs to have completed a change of structure in a certain period it is important to have a reliable partner. An application of conductive coating are sensor plates. One can integrate conductive material into non-conductive material.
